You dont have to pay for p2p softwares. Almost all are free.
Kazaa (old, obsolete) but there are still many choices.
Ares P2P, Warez P2P, EMule, Bearshare, WinMX, DC etc etc . All are free and u get free stuff, not just MP3
Apart from that, there are torrents and free torrent clients like Azureus, uTorrent and now even Ares and Flashget handle torrents.
And then there is a new generation of downloads - from servers like Rapidshare.
